2007–2018 Sprinter (NCV3) models, this module is the EZS (Electronic Ignition Switch) located in the dash.
It takes around 10 minutes to remove the EZS, and we provide video guides to walk you through it.
2002–2006 Sprinter (T1N) models, the module is often called the SKREEM or TEMIC (found behind the instrument cluster) and comes out in about 5 minutes.

Don’t worry – no special tools are required; just a T-15 and flat head screwdriver will do the job. If you still have one working key, you’ll send it along with the module. If all keys are lost, we’ll ask you to also remove one of the door lock cylinders so we can cut the new key to fit your doors. (This ensures the new key will turn the ignition and unlock your doors.) Once the module is out, you’re ready for the next step.
Step 2: Ship the Module to SprinterKeys for Programming
Securely package the module (and any additional parts) and ship them to our facility. After removal, place the ignition module (EZS/SKREEM) – and your existing key or door lock cylinder, if applicable – in a FedEx or UPS padded envelope. Then, ship it to SprinterKeys.com and send us the tracking number. (Many customers use FedEx for most efficient delivery.)
